Nonsensical Musings at Two in the Morning on Homecoming Night

"In theory... I should have been a slut." - Hot Mess

"It's because she has an open vajayjay!" - Saucy Minx

So Homecoming was actually pretty fun... despite our pessimistic expectations and last minute dress shopping. And a few ghetto musical selections. Fast forward past the drama and we see just a bunch of friends having a good time. Our shoes broke and we had to dance barefoot on a sea of STDs, our hair was dripping with sweat (Ew. Gross right?), and by the end of the night, we were so tired we didn't understand half the things that were coming out of  our mouths (and that's even without any alcohol involved).

We realized that all the crazy things that happened were just part of the high school experience. And it is possible to find a kick arse dress two hours before the dance ;) So even if you don't have a date to your next big school function, don't sweat it, lovelies, go with your girls and look awesome, and you will feel it too.

Surviving Homecoming in 4 Steps

Step 1:
Complain constantly to your friends about not getting asked AGAIN to the point where they stop talking to you until you come up with something more interesting to talk about.

Step 2:
Eat your feelings. (A sappy rom-com is a good complement to this.)

Step 3:
Realize that you actually don't want to go to homecoming with any of the boys at your school anyway. Huh.

Going single always means more fun :)
Step 4:
Go with your girls and have a blast. Even if the music sucks ;)

If only...
Tacky? or a tradition we're missing out on?
Best. Movie. Ever.

Ello Ello Ello! Welcome to SeaKayGo!

I'm a Saucy Minx.
I'm a Hot Mess.
And together we make one heck of a team.

We are just two best friends from a town that can't seem to satisfy our artistic endeavors. So we are gonna use this lovely blog thingy we discovered to talk about fashion, painting, dancing, photography, and whatever else strikes our fancy. Hope you love us as much as we do! xoxo, KhAja
